Blue Tit Nest Box
Simply styled, sturdily made FSC ® certified timber Blue Tit nest box. Made with thick timber for insulation with a metal roof designed to prevent rain water running down the inside of the box.
Blue Tit Nest Box
No modern well organised garden can do without a nesting box. This basic nesting box, made from the purest materials, provides a fine place to build a nest for the blue tit and helps keep bird populations where they belong or encourage them to return to an area.
This customised nesting box, with galvanised roof, gives a whole host of birds a place to nest, the blue tit, crested tit, marsh tit, willow tit and the coal tit, just to name a few. In the winter the box will be of good use to the birds that can take shelter from the elements.
The box should be hung in a quiet, somewhat protected location, so not in direct sun or in the direction of rain, between 2 and 4m high with a clear flying route for the bird. The autumn is the best time to clean the nesting box ready for the next family.
- 27 mm (1.063″) diameter entrance hole its suitable for Blue Tit, Crested Tit, Willow Tit, Marsh Tit, Coal Tit
- Can be opened through the bottom to clean.
